Main Hospital Entrance

Hospital Parking & Patient Drop-off
After entering the hospital driveway from Ewing Halsell Drive, clear signs will guide you to our hospital parking garage, located directly next to the hospital’s main entrance.
If you are escorting a patient to our hospital, you may drive them directly to our main entrance before parking in the garage.
Important Directions Note: The Advanced Care Clinic has a separate, dedicated entrance and parking area, located behind the hospital off of James P. Hollers Drive. View Advanced Care Clinic parking and entry directions
Parking payment & validation
Patients and visitors should bring their parking ticket inside when they arrive for their appointment. Parking payment kiosks are available at the hospital's main entrance and near the garage elevators.
Validation is available for patients visiting select services at the UT Health San Antonio Multispecialty and Research Hospital. At this time, parking validation is provided only to patients receiving care in Imaging/Radiology, patients having outpatient surgery or donors at the Blood Donor Center. Before leaving the hospital, present the ticket at the Welcome Desk, and the staff will validate it if your visit qualifies.

Check-in & Registration
Once inside, patients may check in by visiting our welcome desk located at our main entrance.
After checking in, our care team will personally escort you to your appointment or your hospital room where we will help you complete the registration process.

A physician referral is required for Advanced Care Clinic appointments.
